Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois are set to face off at Wembley in a heavyweight clash on Saturday evening. Daniel Dubois will defend his heavyweight title against Anthony Joshua in a huge all-British showdown on Saturday, with the winner throwing themselves into the mix for an undisputed fight. The Dubois vs Joshua bout is scheduled to take place at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 21 September. The event kicks off at 4pm in the UK, with the main event ring walks expected to happen around 11pm after an action-packed undercard.
Both Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua may have decided to keep their feet firmly on the ground this week but, as you would expect, both promoters have been keen to talk up the significance of today’s fight. And Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has suggested tonight’s clash is one of the biggest fights in his man’s career. He told the British broadcaster Sky Sports: “(Joshua) will always talk about performance matters, not legacy and not the belts. I’m not buying that this time. This is to become a three times world heavyweight champion. “This would be massive for his career and it would also pave the way to what we’ve always wanted, the undisputed championship. He wins on Saturday night, in my opinion he will fight the winner of Fury-Usyk.
