Dynamite airs tonight (Dec. 4) with a live show from Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indianapolis. This is the second episode of Dynamite during the five week build towards Worlds End, which takes place on December 28.

Jay White wants to win the AEW world championship, but he’s already made a couple of decisions that will make it much harder for him to achieve that goal. The first decision happened at Full Gear, when he stopped Christian Cage from cashing in his contract for a world title match on an incapacitated Jon Moxley. Mox would have lost the gold to Christian if Jay White didn’t get involved. Hangman Page says he had a deal with Christian for a world title shot as part of that plot. Whether Christian or Hangman walked away from that scheme as champion, it would be easier for Jay to beat one of them for the world title rather than go through Moxley’s army of Death Riders. That’s especially true if Hangman won the belt, because Jay White simply has that guy’s number.

Tonight’s broadcast features the annual Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal, where 12 wrestlers will try to throw each other over the top rope in order to the earn a future match against MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Some of the participants include Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Lance Archer, Brian Cage, and Mark Davis. Cole and O’Reilly are the favorites to win, with the third most likely winner being one of the seven participants who have yet to be named. After MJF injured Roderick Strong at Full Gear, this may be a setup for Kyle to win this match and be the next friend of Adam Cole who gets hurt by the scumbag. Max Caster thought he was really cool last week when made fun of Swerve Strickland’s childhood home being burned to the ground, but Swerve didn’t appreciate the joke and instead beat the hell out of him backstage. Now they’ll fight it out in a proper singles match tonight. Caster says he’s the best wrestler alive, but he probably has no clue what he’s in for when he steps in the ring with the most dangerous man in AEW.

White’s other questionable decision happened on last weekend’s episode of Collision, where he saved Wheeler Yuta from having his neck broken by Hangman Page. Yuta may be the low man in the Death Riders’ pecking order, but his interference is the key that helped Moxley retain the world title against Orange Cassidy. Wheeler has also shown that he is willing to attempt murder on Moxley’s enemies, based on what he did to Bryan Danielson. If White didn’t run off the Hangman on Collision, Yuta would probably be home with a broken neck right now. Instead, Yuta is still a piece on the chessboard who can screw White over whenever the Switchblade gets his world title shot. With all of that in mind, I’m stealing my main man Geno’s gimmick and bestowing Jay White with the Dumbest Ass award. It might be harsh to give this award to someone who stopped another man from getting his neck broken, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Wheeler tries to seriously injure White tonight on Dynamite when Jay goes one-on-one with PAC.
