The 2023 AEW WrestleDream is an upcoming AEW Pay-per-view, which is scheduled to take place on October 1, 2023 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. This event is a tribute to the founder of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Antonio Inoki, as it is his first year death anniversary. The event pledges to begin with a Ten Bell Salute to show respect and to remember Inoki. AEW has confirmed a total of 14 matches for the event, including wrestlers of AEW, ROH and NJPW. Billy Gun and The Acclaimed will defend their AEW World Trios Championship against Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls and Bad Dude Tito of TMDK from NJPW. This match is scheduled to be held at the Zero Hour of the event. As per speculation Billy and The Acclaimed will retain the AEW World Trios Championship and will have a great celebration post match with the Scissors Celebration. Luchasaurus will go one on one against Nick Wayne in a singles match. This is one of the big matches for the 18 year old third generation wrestler to prove his in-ring skills against the former TNT Champion. This match is scheduled to happen at the Zero Hour of the event. As per speculations, Luchasaurus will defeat Nick Wayne. Claudio Castagnoli will go one on one with former Mixed Martial Artist and NJPW star Josh Barnett in a singles’ match. This match is scheduled to happen at the Zero Hour of the event.
