Raw airs tonight (Nov. 18) with a taped show (spoilers are here) from Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is the third episode of Raw during the four week build towards Survivor Series, which takes place on November 30.
WWE is running out of time to announce a women’s War Games match, but look for that to change on tonight’s episode of Raw. The building blocks for War Games are there with Naomi, IYO SKY, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill on the babyface side, while the heel team would include Raquel Rodriguez, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton. But both teams still need an extra player involved. WWE must have a big surprise planned to round out these potential War Games teams, because it won’t cut it to just tack on lower card wrestlers who won’t make a difference. I’m thinking back to 2022 when Becky Lynch made a surprise return on the Survivor Series go home show to join War Games as the fifth team member. That’s the kind of moment WWE needs to deliver to really get fans buzzing about this upcoming match.
Damian Priest is extremely confident that he will beat World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at Survivor Series. The Miz and Final Testament laid a trap for the Wyatt Sicks last week, and it worked like a charm. It looks like Dominik Mysterio and Carlito will be facing the War Raiders in a tag team match, possibly as soon as tonight. Carlito has been in WWE long enough to realize his team is likely to lose, given the War Raiders’ status as the number one contenders to The Judgment Day’s world tag team championship.
