Raw airs tonight (Dec. 9) with a live show from Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. This is the second episode of Raw during the nine week build towards Royal Rumble 2025, which takes place on February 1. Karrion Kross has a penchant for losing his most important matches on the WWE main roster, and he has a chance to continue that pattern tonight on Raw when The Final Testament (Kross & AOP) joins forces with The Miz to take on the Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan & Dexter Lumis) in an 8-man tag team match.The Wyatts have not wrestled since September but have been plenty busy on Raw. During this time, the cowardly Miz found himself caught between The Final Testament and the Wyatts. It started in October when Paul Ellering took a bullet for The Miz as the Wyatts saved R-Truth from a beatdown by Karrion’s gang. Kross said The Miz was in his debt due to Ellering’s sacrifice, and essentially threatened to kill him if he didn’t find out what Uncle Howdy was plotting. This led to The Miz being kidnapped by the Wyatts, only to later dupe them into saving him from what appeared to be a slaughter by The Final Testament. The trap was revealed as the helpless Miz suddenly blasted Erick Rowan from behind, and the Wyatts were laid out for the first time since debuting on Raw earlier this year.
Uncle Howdy laughed the whole thing off, presumably because he knows what kind of destruction and despair lies ahead for The Miz and Final Testament during tonight’s clash between the two factions. Or maybe it was because he knew that Nikki Cross was on her way to torment Scarlett as retaliation. Kross thinks Howdy crossed the line when Cross got to Scarlett, and so the two groups will finally fight it out tonight after six weeks or so of this story playing out. Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez is booked for tonight’s Raw. I’m sure Rhea is extra pissed off after Raquel tried to break her face again by ramming her eye-first into the corner of the announce table last week. Raquel better find a baseball bat hidden away somewhere under the ring if she hopes to stop Ripley, who is very confident after pinning Liv Morgan at War Games. The Women’s Intercontinental championship tournament continues tonight with a 3-way match between Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, and Ivy Nile.
