The May 20, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw will be aired live from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. This is the last episode of Raw before the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. WWE has booked a number of interesting matches and segments, to set the final hype for the Saudi Arabia show. Here is a detailed preview, prediction, news, timings and telecast details of this week’s episode of Raw.The Raw side of the King of the Ring tournament concludes tonight when Jey Uso battles GUNTHER. Uso has tried his damnedest to win a singles belt in WWE over the last year, but that goal has yet to materialize. It won’t be easy, but if he can beat GUNTHER tonight and go on to win the tournament, it will be his biggest accomplishment in WWE since splitting from The Bloodline.
GUNTHER is the favorite in this fight, given the way he’s dominated WWE over the last two years, including a victory over Jey. However, there is definitely a path for Jey to win tonight’s match. That path leads right back to The Bloodline, because Tama Tonga is still alive on the SmackDown side of the bracket. WWE could very well be planning Uso vs. Tonga in the final match of the tournament this Saturday in Saudi Arabia, in order to revisit Jey’s story with The Bloodline.
On the other hand, it might be even more tempting for WWE to book GUNTHER vs. Randy Orton in the final match of the tournament. If the Ring General beats Uso tonight, there’s a very good chance that’s where things are headed. It’s worth noting that Jey wasn’t even originally scheduled to be in this tournament, at least in kayfabe, so perhaps that’s the biggest hint as to who you should expect to see walk out as the winner of tonight’s semifinal match.
