SmackDown airs tonight (Mar. 28) with a taped show emanating from The O2 in London, England. This is the fourth episode of SmackDown during the seven week build towards WrestleMania 41, which takes place on the weekend of April 19 and 20.

CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins went out of their way last week to repeatedly point at the WrestleMania sign in between punching each other in the face. That’s not really an official way to go about things, so they are all back on SmackDown tonight for a WrestleMania contract signing. CM also said he works with children, so I guess nothing has really changed from his days in the AEW locker room. The live audience essentially no sold his jab at AEW, and it’s not the first time that’s happened during his current WWE run. Braun Strowman challenges LA Knight for the United States championship. The Monster earned this title match by getting attacked by Solo Sikoa last week, thus beating Jacob Fatu by disqualification.  WWE Tag Team Champions Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins defend the gold tonight against Pretty Deadly. On kayfabe paper, the Street Profits look like the heavy favorites to retain, for whatever that’s worth.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton didn’t look good at all in last week’s split screen promo battle opposite Charlotte Flair. Things have escalated pretty quickly now that Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest both want to kill each other on sight. Drew has left Damian laying two weeks in a row, so it might be time for the babyface to learn from his mistakes and flip the script tonight. From one championship match to another, LA Knight also recently won back the United States Championship for his second reign with the title when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. Knight has been on the hunt for the title he held so dearly since November 2024. Almost a month ago, the search was finally over, and the “Megastar” pried back the precious hardware. Much like The Street Profits, Knight has no time to breathe as he takes on an opponent of monstrous proportions: Braun Strowman. These two have fought against and with one another over the last few months. Unfortunately, on this night, only one can come out on top. Suffice it to say, Strowman is probably the toughest opponent LA Knight will face yet.
