AEW is back tonight (Sun., Mar. 9, 2025) with their first PPV of the year, Revolution! The sixth annual edition of the event comes our way from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Revolution will get rolling at the start time of 6:30 p.m. ET with the free “Zero Hour” pre-show, which runs for 90 minutes on All Elite’s YouTube channel, and right here at Cageside Seats. That leads right into the PPV at 8 p.m. ET, as well as on traditional PPV. This wasn’t the original plan I don’t think, and they’ll probably have to rearrange some things to account for it. But if there was ever time to audible off an angle, it’s the Death Riders. At this point all I want is for Eddie Kingston to be healthy and for Jon Moxley to get the come to Jesus talk from him that he so richly deserves, so I’m torn as far as what I want. As far as what I think happens, I think everybody’s expecting Switchblade to zag, but there’s something special about the pairing of him and Cope and I just really think Jay is gonna come through and the Rated R Superstar has what it takes to knock Moxley off his perch.
Cain A. Knight, There are several younger babyfaces on the roster who are better choices to end Mox’s title reign. Cope is a dumbass for not injuring Wheeler Yuta, trusting Jay White, and changing his name to Cope. At least two of those factors will cause his downfall here. Pick: Jon Moxley ,Manolo H. Pizzazz Cope can put this Death Riders story to bed. If that fails, then the least Cope can do is to push Mox into becoming a badass again to breathe new life into the Death Riders saga going forward. Pick: Adam Copeland. Marcus Benjamin not picking Cope here if for no other reason than he’s not the guy to dethrone the champ. The person who beats Moxley gets a rep boost and instantly becomes a made guy. The guy formerly known as Edge has all that in spades. Moxley lives to fight another day but the dents in the armor start showing. Pick: Jon Moxley.
